Spider shaft start
With the spider hub in the press plate, start one spider shaft in. Press only enough to get it started straight, DON'T go beyond the undersurface of the hub/gear thrust face, or the bearing won't fit in.
Protect all the bearing surfaces of the hub from getting scratched. I've got plenty of tape on the main bearing surfaces too. You can't see it in these photos, but will later.
